ABOUT US | CONTACT

Hunting and Fishing are allowed in North Carolina's National Forests subject to North Carolina Fish and Game laws. For complete information on regulations, licenses and seasons, visit the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission website at http://www.wildlife.state.nc.us/.

Be aware that the National Forests are used for many recreational purposes and hikers and campers may not be aware that there is hunting going on. Use extra caution, especially around trails and popular recreational spots. Hunt only in designated areas and in season. Contact the local Ranger Stations if you have questions.

For more specific information on fishing, visit the Official North Carolina National Forest Service fishing information page at http://www.cs.unca.edu/nfsnc/nfnc_fishing/fishing_page.htm. This page has links to many different creeks in all of the NC National Forests.
