Robert is 35 years old and a resident of Watauga County (Boone, N.C.) He has 3 children (Holly 19, Cody 12, Dakota 9) and a lovely wife Mechelle. He was born in Kingsport, TN but the majority of his life he grew up in North Carolina (Salisbury area).

Photography has always been an interest to Robert and the Newspaper allowed him to use his ability to "Draw with Light." He currently takes photographs of scenery, sports, and various other subjects for the newspaper and on the side. His freelance Design/Digital Photography business is Total Design Concepts. He does free lance in the Boone area welcomes any new challenges. Robert uses a Canon D-30 digital with a Sigma 28-300 lens.
