I love it when the kids at home and doing good. And EMI, the singer and the North Carolina native Eric Church has done just that with their latest album, Carolina, who has sold over 500,000 units, and receives a gold record certification RIAA sales.
Raised Granite Falls, North Carolina, near Hickory Furniture Capital, the church founded the band a roommate, his brother and friend of the student while Appalachian State in Boone called Mountain Boys. But it was not until he graduated with a degree in marketing and his father lived up to his word, he can not pay the first six months in Nashville where he graduated from the church realized that he belonged here.
Fast forward 10 + years in the Church and signed with Capitol Records in 2006 and released their first album, sinners like me, the same year. Church’s latest album and his ode to his roots, Carolina, features hits “Smoke a bit of smoke” and “Love Your Love Most,” both of which have been certified Gold, which has sold more than 500,000 digital copies of each.
The Church release their third studio album, the head, next month, EMI Records. “Homeboy” is the first single from the album will be released soon and has already reached # March 21 on the Billboard. It has recently been awarded the ACM 46 The New Year’s lead singer Oscar of Country Music Awards and nominated for the fans voted for the National Insurance on the CMT Awards Music Awards 2011, the church is on track to success superstars .
